I grew up loving poetry. Dr. Seuss, of course, is a favorite. After writing poetry for years, I wanted to write something that would draw others into the word of God. God reveals Himself to us in the lives of His people in the Bible, so I have shared little snippets of the lives of the people in the word in poetry form for you to enjoy. I hope that it will draw you into His story and give you a desire to get into the word to find out more. The Bible is the best book. You had better take a big look. And behold what it bountifully brings from beginning to the benediction are things: Beautiful, barbarous, benevolent, beguiling...This bread of life is bound to bless. It's a bonafide bridge to peace and rest. The Blood of Christ blasts all burdens. Believe, receive and build up the brethren.

About Shari T Allegood

I, Mary Shari Tucker Allegood, was born and raised in the south by a Southern Baptist pastor and his wife. My dad pastored churches in Louisiana, Texas, New York and Mississippi. I was saved at camp in 1973 after hearing a missionary speak. I started writing poems in high school. At 14 I read the Bible through for the first time; it took less than a year. Every time I read it through the Lord reveals new things. He is good and amazes me all the time by his blessings. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and four great children. We have had our struggles, but God is faithful and continues to lead us by still waters and provide like the good Shepherd He is. My husband and I have been married 29 years and live in South Georgia. I have homeschooled all my children, taught GAs, Acteens, and several age groups in Sunday school over the years. I went to a small Christian college called Kings College when it was in Briarcliff Manor, NY. I transferred to Georgia Southern, where I met my husband.
