Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Go Betty Go was an all-girl punk rock band from Los Angeles that, along with bands such as Union 13, Los Abandoned and Left Alone, were prominent in the southern California Chicano Punk scene in the mid-2000s. The band formed in Glendale, California in 2001 and originally consisted of sisters Nicolette Vilar (lead vocals) and Aixa Vilar (drums) along with Michelle Rangel (bass) and Betty Cisneros (guitar). The name originates from a phrase the band used to chant to try and get guitarist, Betty Cisneros, to start a song.
