Glenn Spencer (September 11, 1905 - December 30, 1958) was a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played five seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Giants of the National League from 1928 - 1933. His best season came in 1931 when he went 11-12 with a 3.42 earned run average in 38 games. Major League Baseball (MLB) is the highest level of professional baseball in the United States and Canada, consisting of teams that play in the National League and the American League. The two leagues merged in 2000 into a single MLB organization led by the Commissioner of Baseball after 100 years as separate legal entities.show more
