Giuseppe Montanelli Fra Storia E Storiografia a 150 Anni Dalla Scomparsa
The volume contains the proceedings of the conference held on October 6 th, 2012, at the Auditorium of the Foundation Montanelli Bassi, Fucecchio. The aim of the conference was to develop a historiographical reflection on Giuseppe Montanelli on the occasion of the 150 th anniversary of his death. His figure had a great importance in the Tuscan and Italian "Risorgimento," and his federalist proposal, despite having been defeated at his time, has now come back in contemporary Italy with all its poignancy. The first section of the book, dedicated to "The thought and the revolution," contains texts by Paolo Bagnoli, Alessandro Volpi, Danilo Barsanti, Giovanni Luseroni, Donatella Cherubini and Luigi Lotti. The second, focusing on "The Constituent Assembly and its failure," contains interventions by Carlo Ghisalberti, Fabio Bertini, Fulvio Conti, Alessandro Breccia, Paolo Benvenuto, Zeffiro Ciuffoletti and Cosimo Ceccuti.
