The Girl Who Wanted to be an Actress
Gail's hand flew into the air. She was so excited that she almost burst like a balloon. "I'm going to be an actress!" she said. Everybody in the class made the same noise at the same time. It was a little "ooh", and when 32 voices say, "ooh" altogether, it sounds like this: 0000000000000HHHHHH..."It's true, Ms Dawson, it's really true," Gail said. She was so proud that her nose almost touched the ceiling. "How did it happen?" Ayanda asked excitedly. "How did you become an actress?" "Did you act in a movie?" asked Nadia. "Please tell us about it, Gail," said Ms Dawson. Gail's chair screeched as the jumped to her feet and began to tell her story.
