Noble is a fantastic writer and has managed to work on more than one set of characters. The collection of stories are short and in their separate chapters headed by their names and provides an interesting read. It is well laid out as it jumps from family to family and by the end you feel as though you know everything about all of the characters. I have never read a book that has been written like this before, however this may not be everybody's cup of tea and you ay find yourself lost if you cannot keep up with the change between more
