Our customer reviews

I liked the story about how the ghosts came to be and how Chloe was sent to England for a while to get over her mother's death. I thought her Grandma had her best interests at heart and her brother was also a cute addition. The romance felt like it was too instant, too quick and it brought my rating down significantly. This my opinion only because I love books where the romance builds up slowly and not quickly. The ghosts and their stories were probably what I was interested in the most. Though I wanted to know more about them as well. As for the characters, I thought Chloe was battling so much to be normal and it felt realistic. What her thoughts were doing to her relationships with her family members, especially to her father. Isobel was my favourite character because she lost so much. Her life was indeed tragic and I felt like I got to know her as a person instead of the vengeful spirit that she was made out to be. Alexander also had a pretty intense presence and I don't blame Chloe for being attracted to him. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good romance with a little bit of history thrown in.show more
