Incompetence is a disqualification in management but a hidden virtue in many other cases of corporate management where hidden techniques and unethical practices are honored. They do not add value to the organization except by way of personal benefit to managements. It. is the Inability to execute a task in the most efficient manner. This assumes many forms. The official, boss, organization, environment all have roles in blooming incompetence. The individual's inability to keep pace with modern trends in improving his skills renders him incompetent. The boss fails to update himself with the latest developments in his field of work. When the whole world is bubbling with knowledge, incompetence also travels keeping pace with it. People don't take advantage of right knowledge, which improves their skills and living styles. All branches of knowledge are incomplete in that they do not welcome knowledge from all sources. Right knowledge cannot be considered complete without value systems tested in the crucible of time. Time and again incompetence has manifested in several ways hampering human progress in every field. We shall consider some types of incompetence.
