About Wennie Hong
Wennie Hong was born and raised in Seattle, Washington to Vietnamese/Chinese/Cambodian immigrant parents. She is the 3rd of 4 kids. Wennie received her BA in Creative Writing and English from Seattle University. Her first book of prose, "Me/You & Them," was ranked at #10 on Amazon's Hot New Releases in the Love and Romance section in November 2013. Her second book "Panacea" hit the #8 spot less than 24 hours after its release and peaked at #6 on Amazon's Hot New Releases in the Love and Romance section in July of 2014. Wennie has described writing as her coping mechanism, "the one thing that never lets me down." She writes simply for the comfort that words provide not just for herself but others as well. Her hope is to use writing to connect with others. Wennie lives for creativity, exploring different cultures and believes strongly in making the most of any situation.
