From Russia with Psycho Therapy
"From Russia With Psycho Therapy" begins in 1920 in Southeastern Russia where two-year-old Alexei Paranoya is saved from Bolshevik executioners and adopted by a high ranking party official. It ends eighty-five years later on Long Island where Alexei dies in jail. He was confined there for the heinous crime of handing out leaflets in front of abortion clinics in defiance of a judge's order. That doesn't mean "From Russia With Psycho Therapy" is all about Alexei. During his lifetime more than a dozen characters move into and out of the story and, in some cases, back in again. And the narrative touches on a revolution, a war, half-a-dozen love stories, and the strange culture in American universities.
