Description

This is the 3rd book in the series of children's books (illustrated and in rhyme) about a Border Collie dog called Frisby. It follows: Book 1: Frisby - Puppy Days Book 2: Frisby - I'm Learning! In this series of books, Frisby describes her feelings and adventures to the child reader (her owner) as she matures from birth and learns with the help of her best friend, the child. With the easy flowing rhyme and colourful illustrations, this series will delight children (and adults) as Frisby explains how she and her owner learn together, and have lots of fun playing and developing as a team. With great morals and values, these stories for children are aimed to help educate kids to be considerate, gentle and responsible for their pets. The series also encourages activities and games that the dog and child can engage in to bond and really appreciate and love each other. In this 3rd book, Frisby is more mature and has learned a lot in the way of obedience and good behaviour during the first two books. This story revolves around meeting and building friendships with other dogs and also having fun playing with her owner. A great story for dog lovers! This series is suitable for children aged between about 3 and 9 years. Younger children could be read to by a parent, grandparent, or another adult or an older child, whereas older children should be able to read and understand most of it themselves.
