The Company's salaried Superintendent in the States devotes his entire time to the inspection of the business at the various Agencies. He is a Solicitor, who has resided for nearly twenty years in the Western States, and has had great experience in negotiating Farm Mortgages. The average amount lent per acre is less than Ten Shillings. The Farms increase in value, not only from the improvements on them, but from the rapid development of these fertile lands through railway extensions and the continuous increase of the population. This Company's business in the States extends over nearly one hundred Counties. This Company has already invested over Three Million Dollars without loss. Investors are furnished with the following documents for every Loan;--1. An application for the loan, describing the extent, location, and value of the property. 2. A Promissory Note, with a Coupon attached, for each year's interest. 3. A Mortgage Deed, duly attested by a Notary Public, and endorsed by the County Registrar. 4. A complete Abstract of Title. This Company cashes the Coupons here on the day they are due in America. N.B.--Interest at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum will be allowed from the day the money is received in Hull until it is invested at 64 per cent, in Farm Mortgages. DEBENTURE BONDS, Bearing 4 per cent. Interest. The above Company is prepared to receive a limited amount of money on Debentures, for two, three, four, or five years, at 4 per cent per annum.
