As addictive as THE SILENT PATIENT, as gripping as THE GIRL BEFORE.

Lizzie hasn't thought much about Becca since the accident.

She remembers the blood though. She can see how you wouldn't be the same again after something like that. No one was surprised when Becca didn't come back to work.

And Lizzie's different these days too. She used to be the one in the shadows, stalking Becca's perfect life online, but a lot has changed since then.

So when Becca's ex shows up on Tinder, Lizzie swipes right. Why not? Doesn't she deserve a chance at happiness as well?

Becca will have moved on. There's no way she'd even remember Lizzie, no way she could know anything about her life - is there?

She's about to find out that with a friend like Becca, she doesn't need enemies...

Review quote

This is an exhilarating ride where nothing is what it seems... Good luck getting anything else done until you've turned the final page. * Heat * Fast-moving and beautifully told, it is hard to put down. * Daily Mail * With FRIENDS LIKE THESE, Sarah Alderson has created a fascinating female monster. This cleverly plotted, well written book kept me engaged to the last page. -- Rachel Abbott, author of Come A Little Closer The exploration of social media envy/fakery was incredibly dark but also caused me several winces of recognition. Compelling, timely, yet very original all at once. -- Elodie Harper, author of The Death Knock Captivating writing with just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you on your toes... Absolutely loved it! -- SJI Holliday, author of The Lingering Absolutely loved this... It's dark and satirical and uncomfortable reading for anyone on Instagram. -- Claire McGowan, author of the Paula Maguire series A brilliant psychological read. * Woman *
