Central to the continued progress, however, is full implementa tion of the automated data systems to identify and monitor the worldwide backlog of maintenance and repair deficiencies and an inventory of real property and anticipated requirements.
Without such systems and the internal control capabilities they represent, other improvements implemented to date will remain to some extent uncoordinated efforts.
