Description

A scifi novel by Martin van Houwelingen, set in a not so distant future. With prolonged spaceflight becoming a reality through the hydrogen engine and the ample water supply found in the belts of Jupiter, the human race has expanded into the solar system. But as slowly markets for transported goods skyrocket, the ones now living on the new frontier, the largest space station orbiting Jupiter's moon Tethys, find themselves between the strict Earth rulership and a renegade invasion. Foothold of Tethys is the first in a trilogy, with Children of the Moon and Exodus of Mars being prequels leading up to Tethys.show more

About MR Martin Van Houwelingen

About the author Martin van Houwelingen is a high functioning PDD-Nos Autist, born in 1970 in Halfweg (NH), the Netherlands. He currently lives in Amsterdam with his wife Wendy and two cats, and spends his life following his passions of writing, photography and drawing while trying his best to keep the house in some kind of decent order. 'Following a life of passions is not something everyone is cut out to do. It means sleepless nights, constant distractions and mood swings, all while trying to make rent and have enough left to eat. But if you are like me, with stories bursting in your mind and only able to feel truly happy when you are creating something that wasn't there before, then I say Go. Go, do, and come back when you have finished. Follow that dream, where ever it may lead.'
