It's the moments in life that you least expect that end up having the biggest impact. Kayden (Kay) Kampfield is about to have a hell of a new reality unleashed on her. Being an assassin for hire helps, but in no way prepares her for the trials ahead. In her race to uncover the mysteries unraveling before her, she's forced to face the fact that the few people she's ever opened up to have been lying to her all her life... about her life. A life she discovers is surrounded by a supernatural world she'd never even considered believing in. Kay I've never been accused of being a nice person. In truth I have an uncanny ability to inspire record breaking levels of loathing. Lucky for me, it never bothered me being universally hated by the same sheep who wanted to follow me. My life was pretty much exactly the way I wanted it; one in a long line of doting boyfriends, a killer job that I love, a beautiful and legendary bike that I love more... even Cady - the insistent friend - who just wouldn't take no for an answer and wound up growing on me, like a fungus. Of course, I should have known that it couldn't last. In one day the boyfriend-of-the-month bolted, Cady got snatched, the devastatingly gorgeous and thoroughly irritating EX - Donovan - got dumped back into my life; not to mention my parents... basically everything came crashing down around me. The process of picking up the pieces turns out to be much more complicated than I could ever imagine. Praise for Follow Me: "I found it hard to put down. It kept me wanting more. Follow Me is romantic, suspenseful, and funny all at the same time..." Kristi "The author has the ability to make the characters real and the story makes you think about the book even when you're not reading it." Jill "Another page turner from L.L. Ford! But don't take my word for it, grab yourself a copy and find out for yourself! I'm telling ya... You will fall in love!" Peggy "The story flows well and is very well written and thought out. I hope there is more in the series." Sandy ..".interaction between the main characters was special; you got to know them, love them, and in some cases you wanted to Gibbs smack them! ..".a kick-butt woman... an equal in her man" ..".snarky and sarcastic humor, well developed peripheral characters and the paranormal world... this book is for you."

About L L Ford

As boring as it may seem (and it is), I worked for over fifteen years as an accountant / bookkeeper. I design and make decals, mostly for auto windows. I dabble a bit in jewelry making. I also like to maintenance all the family cars myself and I'm currently on the lookout for a new motorcycle. In contrast to the stories I often hear about authors who were born knowing that they were meant to write, I didn't figure out what I wanted to do until I was thirty years old - and still, its scary... I discovered that I was a voracious reader in fifth grade. We did a book swap and I received The Call of The Wild in exchange from whichever (no so memorable) book I traded. I began reading it that very moment, devouring every syllable until it was finished. I read straight through lunch, math, science, the ride home and dinner. The first moment I knew I loved to write, I was in first grade. My teacher was so blown away by the detail of my short story that she took me to the principal so that I could read it to him. They both gushed over it, swelling my little head with pride. I fell away from my love of reading & writing for a bit, in high-school after marrying very young (and subsequently divorcing very young), raising two children and working two jobs. After meeting and marrying my husband, my life slowed down just a fraction. But, with the age of my children raising, it quickly picked back up the pace. That's when I figured out that if I kept waiting for my life to open up and make way for my dreams, I'd be waiting until I died. Why write romance? That is what I read. After reading so many, all varying only slightly from the others, I started trying to come up with different storylines and unique characters. I wrote Forged and Follow Me; publishing them on this summer and I'm working on the sequels now as well as Entangled. L.L. Ford is the author of two published works, Follow Me and Forged and one currently in the works. She is a brand new blogger, deciding recently that if there is a way to make a career of writing, she wants to do it. She lives in her native North Carolina with her stone mason husband, two teenage children (one boy / one girl), two rescue dogs, and a small colony of super-lazy cats, one of whom loves to use the dog as her own personal groomer. She enjoys hanging out by the pool whenever she can find a moment to spare between Facebook, twitter, etc. updates, writing, baseball, cheer, and various other activities.
