Description
When Foley Russel is assigned a book report and to meet a character from that book, he hopes for someone interesting like a circus midget or a Formula One driver. He's not anticipating a girl in a wheelchair, and he's certainly not expecting to like her. After all, she's not even normal, is she?

About Rebecca Bloomer
Rebecca Bloomer is an English and Biology teacher by trade. Following thirteen years of teaching in Australian and international schools, across all levels of primary, secondary and tertiary education, wherein texts were analysed, deconstructed and critiqued, she's decided to take part in the creation process instead. Rebecca began her foray into writing with a pseudonym (Rebecca Williams) and a romance. Five romances, excellent reviews, a couple of milestones and awards dinners later, she decided to try a different audience: Teens! Mae-be Roses was born with great difficulty via the self-publishing process, as many people worried about the book appearing to 'promote' teen parenthood. Mae-be is now in schools across Australia, being promoted by the Core Of Life. According to AWE (Australian Women Educators), she is "a welcome addition to young adult bookshelves..." Next came Willow Farrington Bites Back, which is, according to reviews, "a delightful book" (Eating Disorders Association) and "a wonderful, warm, witty story" (Busy Mothers Magazine). With Foley Russel and That Poor Girl, Rebecca continues to redefine normal and she really hopes you'll join her on this adventure.
