Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. State Road 969, locally known as Milam Dairy Road, is a 7.4-mile-long north-south street west of Miami International Airport in western Miami-Dade County, Florida. The southern terminus is currently an intersection with SR 968 in the city of Miami; its northern terminus is presently an intersection with SR 934, near the present western end of the Hialeah Expressway, just south of Medley. Until 2001, signage indicated that SR 969 actually extended southward into the Flagami section of Miami, to Tamiami Boulevard . In the 1980s, a curve around the airport was extended southward with a bridge over the Dolphin Expressway, removing the portion of Northwest 12th Street from the route. Originally, northbound traffic went north on 72nd Ave west on 12th St and north again on the curved 72nd Ave around the airport.show more
