He wrote the score and title song for the HBO feature film, Strange Hearts (aka Roads to Riches), starring Robert Forster and Rose McGowan. He composed music for the Nickelodeon animated movie, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids, and recently has been contributing music to the PBS animated series, The Zula Patrol. Fletcher also composed music for Steve Oedekerk's upcoming animated series, Dirk Derby. Fletcher began his musical journey in Seattle, Washington. After experimenting with different instruments, he settled on the bass and was playing professionally in jazz and rock combos in the area by the age of 16. After studying with jazz great, Gary Peacock, Fletcher moved to Los Angeles and received a degree from UCLA.show more
