Review quote

"Evanovich writes with flair in an absurdist vein that her imitators can only envy." --The New York Times

"Evanovich dishes up her usual mixture of shoot-'em-up action (numerous cars explode) and quirky characters (notably a neighborhood flasher with a devoted following)." --Publishers Weekly

"The 15th chapter of Evanovich's long-running Stephanie Plum series still keeps the wacky factor hilariously high. Only Evanovich can make the shenanigans of this nutty crew seem almost reasonable.... There are giggles galore!" --RT Book Reviews

"Read Finger Lickin' Fifteen for the laughs." --Omaha World-Herald

Our customer reviews

Finger Lickin' Fifteen is the fifteenth full-length novel in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. After Lula witnesses the murder of celebrity chef Stanley Chipotle of BBQ sauce fame, Stephanie has her hands full. As well as five skips (including an exhibitionist, an arsonist, a drug dealer and a few armed robbers), Lula expects her to help track down the murderers for the reward money. On top of that, Ranger has her spare hours filled investigating who is compromising the security of Rangeman's top accounts. This time, Stephanie is driving a five-year-old used-to-be-blue Ford Escort, although this is burnt out soon enough; she manages to destroy one of Ranger's Porsche Cayenne's before resorting to the Buick and even her father's cab. Lula's Firebird cops quite a bit of punishment and Lula herself is the subject of at least six murder attempts. Tephanie seesaws between Ranger and Morelli, and Joyce Barnhardt makes another unwelcome appearance. Stephanie gets covered in paint, BBQ sauce and flour, and has her apartment fire-bombed. There is a cross-dressing fireman, a giant chicken and a giant hot-dog. Pure slapstick.show more
