10 Chapters is a series of fast-paced alternate reality adventures beginning with Fender. Advances in technology made it possible to implant computers as small as a living cell into our bodies. Electronic information was stored within us for easy transactions. Scientists had engineered our systems to work together more efficiently. They had connected our bodies and minds to our social selves, to our communities, to our nations, and to Planet Earth. But something went wrong. Fender is one of the two percent of the world's population whose spirit has been transferred to the body of another person who is living as Fender (call him Fender #2) in an alternate reality. Scientists are calling this phenomenon "spirit transference." How can we prevent spirit transference from happening? How can we return the two percent back to their original bodies? While scientists wring their hands, politicians are hiding this disastrous truth from the public. As the afflicted two percent are revealed, they are whisked away to a secret government facility. Can Fender stay one step ahead of the agents who are after him? Does he have what it takes to be a hero?

About Natalie Buske Thomas

Natalie loves all things Irish, oil painting, sugar cookies, the color red, pizza, live music, and singing. She is an author of books for all ages and enjoys people who are still capable of having an imagination, of having a sense of wonder, of feeling hopeful and full of energy, of feeling as if anything is possible, of feeling afraid of scary things and unafraid of the rest... of having courage, of being selfless, of being spontaneous, of recognizing humor, and of living life to the absolute fullest. Natalie was born in upstate New York, raised in Indiana, and then lived in Germany for three years. She currently resides near the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Minnesota). Natalie would one day like to time travel, but for now she writes about it.
