The station itself has recently undergone some refurbishment work. During Monday to Saturday daytimes, there are trains every 15 minutes between Kirkby and Liverpool Central. At other times, trains operate every 30 minutes. Fazakerley is a suburb of north Liverpool, Merseyside, England, and a Liverpool City Council Ward. At the 2001 Census it had a population of 15,062.
