Description

This beautifully illustrated book with simple rhymes teaches children that we are more similar than we are different and that everyone needs to be treated with kindness. The vibrant, diverse portraits of children's faces supports the theme that we are all unique and special. "No matter how nice, No matter how mean, no matter how dirty, no matter how clean . . . Everyone is someone, we need to love all." No matter who you are or what you've been through, every single person we encounter, every single day, is someone who is worthy of love and deserving of compassion.

About Bob Dalton

Founder of the blanket company Sackcloth & Ashes, Bob Dalton was inspired to help homeless people when his mother, a hardworking and single parent, found herself living on the streets. Because of his mother's story, he was inspired to call local homeless shelters and ask what they needed most: they all said blankets. For every blanket purchased through his company, he donates a blanket to the customer's local homeless shelter. His goal is to donate one million blankets to shelters by 2024. Ritchie Collins was born in Scotland. He has painted all his life and studied painting and illustration at the College of Building and Printing in Glasgow before settling in Edinburgh. Each of Ritchie's paintings tells a story, contains captivating detail, and something new to explore with every glance.
