After graduating from the Normal School in Framingham she entered the Institute of Technology for a course in biology, and there, as everywhere, won many friends by her faithful, conscientious work, her superior mental endowments and the sincerity and simplicity of her nature. OUR vacation number would not be complete without mention of the Biennial of the General Federation of Women's Clubs to be held this month at Denver. This will afford a vacation of the best kind to many women all over the land, for a vacation need not be entire idleness. A change of people as well as a change of scene does much to freshen tired minds and bodies. Many pleasant parties are being made up for the trip to Denver. The American Kitchen Magazinewill be represented at the Denver meeting by its senior editor, Mrs. Mary J. Lincoln, who hopes to meet personally many of its readers. Mrs. Lincoln expects to go with Miss Helen M. Winslow, editor of the Club Woman, who will conduct a party from Boston. WE would remind our subscribers that changes of address for the summer months are made when due notice is given. Unless a change of address reaches us before the fifteenth of the month we cannot insure the change being made for the next issue. WE recommend to housekeepers and settlement workers as well as teachers, a careful perusal of Experiment Station Bulletin No. 46 of the United States Department of Agriculture, Dietary Studies in New York City.
