A young woman wants to go abroad and follow her own dreams; but there is the issue of her elderly mother, Mrs. Esther Pein, who recently had a heart attack. Can Mrs. Pein really be left behind? Without talking to her mother, the daughter makes arrangements with a retirement home. Although Mrs. Pein prefers to control her own life, she agrees to let her daughter go and moves into the home.
