Our customer reviews
This Lenormand book is jam-packed full of information, stories, and exercises designed to help the Lenormand newbie. Rana George shares her way of reading the cards, based on decades of experience, and her enthusiasm for Lenormand is evident on every page. Some of the sections that I particularly enjoyed (and wasn't expecting) were: the quite-detailed section on Mme Lenormand's history, and how to use the Lenormand with the Tarot. I also like that George doesn't dumb down the material - even if focusing on one card to explain it, she includes a reading involving several other cards and how they all relate to one another and tell a story. This is invaluable because the Lenormand cards are read in combinations. Something else that I particularly liked was the way each card's meaning was looked at under different subject areas: e.g. work; romance; spirituality; finances; timing; description of a person, and so on. This is a hefty tome and although it's my first Lenormand book, I cannot see that I'll need to purchase any supplementary material, so thorough is the information given in this one. As the quote from Mary K. Greer reads on the front cover: "You won't find a better teacher than Rana George." 10 out of 10!show moreby Lisa
