About Ian Chong Cpe

Ian Chong CPE, is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist. Educated in Ergonomics & Occupational Biomechanics (NYU), Industrial Design (Pratt Institute, NYC); Architecture (UWash). He is vastly experienced (lots of gray hairs), award winning (plenty of wall hangings), highly credentialed (loads of boot marks on the back side); AND is a performing Magician, with an outlandish sense of humor, albeit somewhat nerdy. Also schooled in Inventing (School of Hard Knocks); he is known for RUGGED, MACHO, GRIMY industrial Ergonomics and complex office Ergonomics. As a self-proclaimed tool junkie, he is often found in his shop (preferable to his office) developing creative custom solutions, getting workers out of pain and helping companies add to their bottom line. He also heartwarmingly admits to receiving many Starbucks lattes and company store gifts-mostly flashlights and socks-in thanks from workers, helping them keep their jobs and supporting families. Ergonomics is his calling and passion. Other than the coloring books filled in when a kid, "Ergonomic Mis-Adventures" is his second real book. His other books (Surviving) Your Computer as Predator and the ALMOST "R" rated "Ergonomics of the Absurd" (pen name Alex Victor) are available on Amazon. His firm can be found on WWW.ERGOINC.comshow more
