Kay Castaneda is an English instructor for first year composition students. She also works as a high school special education tutor. Her articles on education have been published in reference books, and her poetry and fiction have appeared in literary journals. Kay has attended writing seminars in Lithuania, Scotland and Mexico. Kay belongs to several writing and educational organizations. Her hobbies include reading fiction and biographies of historical and religious figures. She is currently researching the histories of Ireland and Scotland for a novel about saints of those countries.
