To be normal, sixteen-year-old Julia Parker would shed her empathic gift in a second. Life has been difficult since her mother's mysterious disappearance ten years earlier - an event she witnessed, but can't remember. Julia's situation becomes more complicated after a near death experience from a blood thirsty stalker. As high school students go missing it is clear there is a connection to her own experience--past and present. Someone has to stop the madness and a chance encounter with a creepy psychic foretells that only Julia is the key to stopping the madness, but it may require the life of the one she loves.

Our customer reviews

This is book #1 of the series, there is a total of 3. The Emerald Talisman is a great pre-teen to adult read, author Brenda Pandos did a great job keeping this book exciting and clean! I love when I can read a book and pass it to my 13 year old. Julia is a sixteen year old girl who lives in a small town and she finds herself having to fight for her life, after she has already lost her mother. When she meets Nicholas she realizes where her strength comes from. The two of them together have to fight off unwanted vampires and save the town. The Sapphire Talisman is book 2 in this series, Brenda does a great job picking up where book #1 leaves off! There are many more surprises and exciting new twists. The final installment will be out in late fall, The Onyx!show more
