About Chanh Van Nguyen

Nguyen Van Chanh was born into a devout Vietnamese Catholic family. Upon losing both parents, he was raised by his brother priest in a rectory until his teen years. After coming to the United States, he attended Catholic seminaries and became a diocesan priest. He currently resides in southern Louisiana. A priest for almost twenty years, he only recently discovered a fresh way of reading the Gospel. A joyful way of embracing life and live it more abundantly has given him a fresh way to read and understand the Gospel with different heart and mind. Thus, his book Embracing Salvation: Actualizing Inner Peace, Joy, and Freedom to Have a More Abundant Life came into being.show more
