About MR Peter Richard Lawton

The author has worked and travelled in around 70 countries, establishing social enterprises for women's health. He still contributes in this field. As a pragmatic naturalist he established two international wildlife trusts for wildlife protection, primarily to save precious wilderness areas, and also the wild tiger. He travelled through ten of the eleven tiger range states, while focusing most of his efforts on India where he lived for sixteen years. Brought up in New Zealand, Peter now lives on the banks of the Guadiana river in Andalusia, Spain, where he follows his love of nature, and writing. He has written many articles on wildlife, and this is his second book. There is a novel due out in 2016.show more
