About Judy Roberts

Judy Roberts received her A. B. degree in English from West Georgia College, her M. Ed. degree in education from Georgia State University, and her Ed. D. in reading from the University of Miami. She has taught developmental reading and study skills courses at five colleges and universities in Florida and Kentucky. Prior to beginning a career in college teaching, she taught far sixteen years in the public school systems of Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. She is a member of Phi Delta Kappa and the Kentucky Association of Developmental Education. She maintains the belief that all students can become more successful after being taught some basic metacognitive strategies, which can be applied to all of their college courses.show more
