Never having read much about Ayurvedic cooking before I was pleasantly surprised at how readable this book was. It was interesting from, assessing your "Dosha", which was very accurate, then the lists of recommended and foods to avoid for your particular Dosha, also pretty spot on for me. The recipes are very easy to prepare and most ingredients are readily available. I found very obvious health improvements from day one of trying these recipes and now I am using this book four or five days a week and find that I am modifying other recipes to make them more suited to my "Dosha". I can't recommend this book highly enough, having given copies as gifts to three friends who also love it, I think it is a cookbook for more
