Our customer reviews

This book is useful if you want some exercises to practice your Italian grammar. Each chapter mostly deals with one subject - e.g. pronouns or articles, etc. It also includes the more advanced tenses, eg. imperfect. However much I have enjoyed the book I don't trust the answers or some of the information because there are so many errors. Examples include asking a question for "you (pl)" but giving the answer for "you (sing)"; including non-reflexive pronouns when explaining the position of pronouns under the reflexive pronouns section, even saying lontano means near! I must have found well in excess of 20 errors in the book so far. In short, if you are fairly confident in your Italian and can spot a mistake, its worth buying, but if not, stay well clear because it could well and truly confuse you. By the way, I contacted the publishers about my concerns and they didn't seem too worried!show more
