East Perth railway station is a Transperth railway station 1.9 km from Perth Train Station, on the Midland Line in Perth, Western Australia. It is next to the East Perth passenger terminal and the Public Transport Centre, in Western Australia. The station is also the terminus for the Indian Pacific service from Sydney. The station was opened in 1969 as the main passenger terminal for the Sydney - Perth standard gauge railway. The station took the name of the previous East Perth station, which was renamed Claisebrook. The Westrail Centre was officially opened at the station on 12 November 1976.show more
