Two deaths were caused by bronchitis, 2 by pneumonia, and 2 by phthisis. Aro. 3, North City District (Blackhall-street). The deaths (18) represent an annual rate of 36-9 per 1,000. The only death from any of the principal zymotic diseases recorded is one from whooping cough. The deaths from other cause comprise 3 from phthisis, 2 from heart disease, and 3 from convulsions. No. 1, South City District (Meath-street). The deaths (21) represent an annual rate of 364 per 1,000: they comprise 6 from zymotic diseases, viz: --one each from small-pox, measles, scarlatina, whooping cough, diarrhoea, and quinsy. Two deaths were ascribed to phthisis and 2 to hydrocephalus. No. 2, South City District (High-street). The deaths (18) are equivalent to nn annual rate of 33-0 per 1,000. Among them are 4 from zymotic diseases, including one each from small-pox, whooping-cough and fever. Two deaths were caused by bronchitis, 2 by phthisis, and 2 by convulsions. No. 3, South City District (Peter-street). The deaths (27) are equal to an annual rate of 366 per 1,000. They comprise 3 from small-pox, and one each from measles, scarlatina, and whooping-cough; also 5 from bronchitis, 3 from phthisis, and 4 from convulsions.
