Gideon Lowe wants to suceed at the restoration of Crosslyn Rise. He along with the others involved are determined to get it restored in time and on budget. When he first meets Christine Gillette, they have words, she arrived on site and upset the work and distracts his men and he makes her aware of how he feels about her.
Christine Gillette would love the oppurtunity to be a part of the team to restore Crosslyn Rise. This would look good on her Resume and also she just wants to work on the project because she has so many ideas to bring it back to it\'s former glory.
So when three interior designers present their work to the committee, it is decided that Christine\'s proposal is the best. She is hired to start in January.
The reason Gideon doesn\'t like Christine is because he actually is attracted to her, but doesn\'t want to be. They meet for lunch to smooth the waters and he finds out he enjoys her company. Julia wants nothing to do with Gideon, she thinks she knows his type and he reminds her of the father of her teenager daughter. But Gideon is persistent and he wins Christine and her daughter over. But still she won\'t commit to much because she is afraid Gideon will leave her later on.
The opposite happens Gideon falls in love with her but cannot get her to commit and soon you begin to worry will Christine choose her freedom over love.
Christine has to prove herself more in this field than a man would. She has worked with people like Gideon before and she tries to understand in the beginning why he hates her, but when she finds out he is attracted to her, this confused her, she has her life mapped out and she doesn\'t need Gideon coming into in making wavesshow more
