Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Doctor Douglas N. Graham (born 1953) is an author, athlete, trainer and promoter of a low-fat vegan raw food diet. He has worked as a professional adviser or trainer to tennis player Martina Navratilova, NBA pro basketball player Ronnie Grandison, actress Demi Moore, Chicken Soup for the Soul coauthor Mark Victor Hansen, track Olympic sprinter Doug Dickinson, pro women's soccer player Callie Withers, and bodybuilder Kenneth G. Williams. Dr. Graham claims to have been on a 100% raw food diet since 1978. Dr. Graham's work is based in Orthopathy or "Natural Hygiene" which was promoted by Herbert M. Shelton and Arnold Ehret. Graham believes that degenerative disease is most effectively prevented and reversed by removing the cause rather than treating symptoms. Graham recommends healthy lifestyle choices, including regular exercise and a diet of fresh, ripe, low-fat, organic, vegan, raw foods, especially fruit and greens, and which excludes all animal foods and vegetable oils. Graham promotes the use of whole foods rather than refined so-called "superfoods."show more
