General Douglas Malcolm Fraser, USAF (born April 16, 1953) is current Commander, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). He is the first Air Force officer to become USSOUTHCOM's combatant commander. He previously served as Deputy Commander, U.S. Pacific Command from April 2008 to June 24, 2009. He assumed his current assignment on June 25, 2009. General Fraser earned his commission upon graduation from the United States Air Force Academy in 1975.
