About Giselle Nagy

Giselle Nagy was born in sunny Southern CA in the early sixties. She and her four older brothers and sisters were taught a serious work ethic by their hard working European immigrant parents. Her Hungarian father, an electronic technician, raised her to be self-sufficient and an independent thinker. If she broke a window, he taught her how to fix it. When she wanted a birdhouse for their backyard, he taught her how to use a saw and hammer to create her own (but she had to figure out how to get it into the tree). Her French mother was extremely creative. She was a preschool teacher who made her own puppets and even wrote her own children's stories! She taught Giselle to follow her dreams. Giselle later became a preschool teacher too, a profession which she excelled in for many years. Today, she is a senior care provider in Encino, CA. In her spare time, Giselle has invented numerous simple and elegant products. Her Helpin' Hand Automotive Accessory (which held maps, notes and beverages ) was licensed to a prominent manufacturing company during the early 90's and became a nation-wide product, selling in chain stores such as Target, Pep Boys and Kragen Auto Parts. Her Wind Resistant Picnic Plate won First Place in an inventor's contest. Giselle is currently working on a very important invention in the field of earthquake preparedness. She created the "Side Of House Pipe Pet Shelter" for her dog, a Shiba Inu named "Hee-Nee" and her tuxedo cat, "Soleil." Giselle hopes other people and their pets will enjoy it too!show more
