Description

What is the biodiversity of which Edward O. Wilson writes with such conviction and authority? What is the scope of it? How did it originate? Where is it found? How are humans diminishing it and why does this matter? The Diversity of Life offers answers to these questions in an engaging and non-technical style. Edward O. Wilson succeeds in both celebrating the complexity of evolution and emphasising the extent of the catastrophe we face and this is borne out by Stefan Buczacki's intelligent reading.show more
