About Samantha Goodlet
Sam Goodlet is an English illustrator who grew up in the rolling Hampshire hills. She has a gentle, whimsical style, generally using pen and ink to create characters and landscapes. Sam has over 14 years experience of using creativity to communicate, educate, bring people together and bring ideas to life. She has worked in schools, libraries and for conservation charity Froglife. She has run puppet shows in community libraries, been an artist in residence in a preschool, taught teenagers to paint, dug ponds with young offenders and turned a former pub in to a wildlife art installation. She also illustrated 'Sex on Earth: A Celebration of Animal Reproduction' by Jules Howard, published by Bloomsbury. A strong believer in personal growth and the power of stories to inspire new ways of thinking and being in the world, Sam has recently started writing. She is obsessed with fairy tales and folk stories, and 'Dive Down: Drawings from the Deep' is her first book.
