Diego Camacho Quesada (born 3 October 1976 in Madrid) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Albacete Balompi as a defensive midfielder. A late bloomer - he was still playing lower league football at almost 26 - he represented nine different clubs in his career, namely Levante UD. Camacho played the early part of his career with modest clubs, in the third division. In 2002-03, however, he signed with La Liga side Recreativo de Huelva, from Granada CF. On 14 September 2002, he made his top flight debut, in a 0-3 loss at Valencia CF, as Recre was finally relegated. In 2004, Camacho joined newly promoted Levante UD. After one promotion and relegation, he joined another freshly promoted side, Real Valladolid, in 2007-08. After appearing scarcely during the season, he proceeded to move to Sporting de Gij n (also promoted to the top division), in a 1+1-years deal.show more
