Derek Kellogg (born on June 20, 1973 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is an American college basketball coach and the current 21st head coach of the men's basketball team at the University of Massachusetts. He was named to the position on April 23, 2008, replacing Travis Ford, who left to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma State University. Kellogg attended Cathedral High School in Springfield and the University of Massachusetts for college. He was a point guard for the UMass Minutemen from 1991 to 1995. As a player, Kellogg played on four Atlantic 10 Conference regular season and tournament championship teams. During that span, the Minutemen were just the second team in NCAA history to win four straight outright season and tournament championships.
