Dennis Wit is a retired U.S. soccer midfielder who spent nine seasons in the North American Soccer League. He also earned four caps with the U.S. national team. Wit attended Loyola College where he played on the men's soccer team from 1969 to 1972. He finished his career with 53 goals, placing him in second on the college's all time goals list. Wit began his professional career with the Baltimore Comets of the North American Soccer League in 1974. He spent the 1974 and 1975 seasons with the Comets, then moved with the team when it left Baltimore to become the San Diego Jaws. Wit began the 1976 season in San Diego, but was traded to the Tampa Bay Rowdies after fourteen more
