Description

Set in the 1880's Catherine has learned to grow up as an only child in a family that has forgotten what happiness and love brings (or means). She is determined not to be hurt by love from learning of the scandalous behaviour of married men at a young age. Catherine gets herself into an arranged marriage to protect her heart and herself from others who might win her hand from her father. Her husband James is determined to win her love no matter the cost or consequence. This marriage is then put to the test when she goes on a trip across Europe with Madeline Grey, an heiress with no regard to Decorum. They travel from Paris to Italy and attend balls and parties. In Italy Catherine meets Michael a young handsome carpenter. Will his passion finally melt her heart?show more
