About Sean Michael Douglas

Sean Douglas is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Master Resilience Implementer, and TEDx Speaker. He enlisted in the Air Force in 2001 right after 9/11, has been deployed to multiple locations, and performed a multitude of duties all over the world. He spent four years as a Drill Instructor in Basic Training developing young men and women into military leaders. Not surprisingly, he is energetic and passionate about inspiring others to succeed. Sean gives many speeches throughout the year on various topics at youth events, high schools, churches, associations, and conferences. His love for helping others achieve their dreams, and instilling in them that extra motivation to finish strong, is at the forefront of every speech and presentation he delivers. His main goal is to help as many people as possible overcome a self-defeating behavior, and to inspire change in their lives. Sean was at one time an alcoholic, almost losing his military career and his family. In December of 2008, Sean almost took his own life because of his drinking and negative thinking. He has since recovered and turned to God for healing, and through his faith, helps others before they travel down that dark road.
