David John Sax (born September 22, 1958 in West Sacramento, California) is a former Major League Baseball player and the brother of All-Star second baseman Steve Sax. He played catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1982-83) and Boston Red Sox (1985-87) in his brief major league career. Major League Baseball (MLB) is the highest level of professional baseball in the United States and Canada, consisting of teams that play in the National League and the American League.
