Darauli is an assembly constituency in Siwan district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is reserved for scheduled castes from 2010. Earlier it was an open seat. As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 107 Darauli (SC) is composed of the following: Darauli, Guthani and Andar community development blocks. Darauli is part of No. 18 Siwan. In the 2010 state assembly elections, Ramayan Manjhi of BJP won the Darauli seat defeating his nearest rival Satyadeo Ram of CPI(M-L)L. Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Amar Nath Yadav of CPI(M-L)L defeated Sheo Shankar Yadav of RJD in October 2005 and February 2005.show more
