Damanis a Baloch tribe Balochistan region of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Majority of them living in Balochistan, Kerman, Khorasan and Hormongan of Iran. Minority of them lives in Eastern Balochistan in Southern Afghanistan and the Chagai District of the Pakistani Balochistan province. In end of 19th century the tribe had major involvement in weapons smuggles from Ottoman to Afghanistan. They were fighting against Seistan Force on side of Caliph of Ottoman. The clans of Damanis; Yarahmadzai, Ismailzai and Gamshadzai. This village at present is being known as Kotla Ahmed Khan near Dera Ghazi Khan, and the grave of this brave Sardar is in the boundary wall of Pir Shakhi Sarwar near D.G Khan.show more
